A Day of Road Trips to my Drs....
Today was a good day. Even though it was pretty warm outside, I had energy and wanted to play. Maybe that yummy liver is giving me energy. Dad and I played a few times today. First in the morning after mom left for work we played, then we went to Dr. Cummings to pick up pills for me. Then we came back and dad worked until lunch time. After lunch, dad worked again. Late in the afternoon, we went to see Dr. Draper again. He thinks the swelling in my chest and belly is less dense than it was last week. My weight was the same so that probably means no more fluid accumulated (big word for a dog, huh!) since last week. He didn't stick me with any needles today, he just felt my body and listened to my heart. Now he gave me two more Chinese herbs that are supposed to attack the tumor. And, because of him, I get to eat all these yummy foods. I guess he's an ok guy.
When mom and dad were having dinner, mom said there were baby birds coming to the feeders now. She said some of those birds could have been born on my hair. That's cool -- those birds are comfy and warm thanks to my hair. :)

I'm glad to hear you had a good day yesterday. That makes me smile. You have touched the hearts of so many people. You have even managed to touch the lives of some new birds. You should be proud. Bella found a baby bird in my yard last night that didn't make it. He had his feathers, but maybe got sick or something. She was carring it around the yard in her mouth. Guess that's what you retrievers are supposed to do. I had a hard time getting it from her. All I could see was a foot sticking out of her mouth. I felt bad for the poor little thing. I know the weather is not supposed to be so nice over the next few days, but if you feel like a visit, I still have some red pepper left in the fridge.
